Actually, I decided to quit publishing my humble ideas, comments or even articles on Somali Websites but whenever I visit those pages and read some articles been produced by some of my countrymen, my fingers just start moving aiming to answer this and that article. I said my fingers if you follow me, because may be my Somali brain or “Intelligence is inferior to certain extend to that of other animal”. The last article of that kind is the recent article of my countryman Dr Ahmed Alasoo with the Academic Title “Longletharg” My intention in this article is neither to be polemic nor to explain the difference between animal and human intelligence let alone to disqualify Somali intelligence as inferior to that of animal because this can be a case for anti racists movements.
Let us just imagine together what would have happen if none Somali writer published such an article online. All Somalis in the Diaspora would have turned overnight into a radical antiracists activist worldwide.
The weakness of a writer or analyst is actually the continuous generalisation of an issue although analysts systematically derivate the specifics of subject from the general issue.
My concern and critics of the said article cannot be better manifested than to quote my emotional but unfair countryman Dr Ahmed
“The Somali people can be evaluated as bulldozers good in destroying their homes and cities, while they have no shelter or have where to go or to hide from the fluctuating whether conditions and un-pleasant atmosphere that surrounds every Somali in their own country”.
My follow Somalis, you will fully agree with me that the victims of the Barbaric Somali war are literally the bulldozers who intentionally or due to their low IQ are killing each other and destroyed their shelter.
According to Dr Ahmed, this is simply because they are less intelligent than the birds why not also less intelligent than monkeys as some pseudo scientists and racists want us to believe.
How can we explain to those who lost their beloved ones that they are the cause of their suffering and that murders and innocent civilians have the same low IQ and are sitting in the same boat ? War as such, whether it is religiously motivated or political, war is part of the barbaric human instinct and Somalis are not a special case in that horrifying arena.
Coming to the very political part of Dr Ahmed’s article, Ahmed is telling us that Somalis produced always bad leaders except Sheikh Sharif. I don’t understand or follow how Dr Ahmed came to the conclusion that the present president of Somalia is better than the past ones. Mogadishu is burning ever since he came to power and Mogadishu is not more peaceful than under Abdillahi Yusuf and his Ethiopians.
The only thing all of us know about the Sheikh is the fact that he has absolutely no plan Zero vision and that he is surrounded by those who deleted the lives of thousands of innocent Somali people and destroyed brutally like bulldozer thousands of the said shelter in our country.
Dr Ahmed recalled in my mind pictures of Enthusiastic Somali women in the USA, Canadian, England, Europe or Australia who were celebrating the election of Sheikh Sharif which was not necessarily a celebration for a better future but the Celebration of the defeat of some one.
Nevertheless, let me come to reflect and under line by quoting him what I fully agree with my Country in his article as he says .
“What is happening in Somalia and the real objectives of those organizations such as Hisbul Islam,Shabab and others is not, as they claim, implementation of Shariia law but rather beyond all that, as the conspiracy of destruction is orchestrated from overseas with professional foreign agents/terrorists used to perpetuate the instability so as to make Somalia a safe heaven for all extremists”.
If that is not the case why the barbaric and senseless killings are going on in Kismaayo, Mogadishu or even in Beledweyen which don’t even have a Sea port to fight for in order to feed the local killing machines like they do in Mogadishu and Kismaayo?.
Today our country and home is dominated by religious fanatics and their major objective is to bomb our nation back to the stone age and this starts always by the oppression of our women ( mothers, sisters, daughters, wives etc …) the bread winners of our suffering nation literally the pearl of our nation.
Last but not least, I want to mention and fully agree with my countryman again as he says:
“even those individuals who migrated to other countries or studied abroad and read history and saw the devastation that civil wars cause, still call or support for more wars in order to achieve the goals of their tribes, regardless of the sufferings of their country-men”.
That is exactly what I call the deadly political pollution coming from many Somalis (men and women) in the Diaspora towards to the suffering masses in Somalia.
However, it is not an alleged low intelligence of our poor people which is the root caused of the Somali tragedy but it is the criminal energy of well know elements in Somali which must be brought for justices.
Let us all go and advocate for that beyond all dirty tribal games than Somali will be settled and peace will prevail very soon in our Country.
