Baidoa (HOL) - The military court in Baidoa, the capital of the Bay region, carried out another death sentence on Tuesday, resulting in the execution of two men.
The men, identified as Abdirahman Ali Hassan Sugow and Yassin Mohamed Adan, had been convicted of multiple murders. The execution took place in public, near a location known as Aratuurka, in the northern part of Baidoa, where a firing squad was present.
In addition to Sugow and Adan, Somalia's military court is detaining several more individuals awaiting execution, including government soldiers, Al-Shabaab members, and civilians.
