MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Minneapolis police have arrested a 17-year-old boy in connection with this week's triple slaying at a corner market in south Minneapolis.

Police said Saturday the suspect was arrested overnight in Minneapolis. He is being held at the Hennepin County Juvenile Detention Center.

Authorities say there may be more arrests as the investigation continues.

The three victims were shot Wednesday night at Seward Market and Halal Meats. The store is in a middle-class area with a substantial population of Somali immigrants.

The shooting was initially reported as a robbery, but police say they're investigating other motives.

Omar Jamal has been an advocate for Somalis in Minnesota. He says the arrest is a relief to the community and victims' families.
