Somali pirates have been on a hijacking spree that has seem five vessels hijacked within 48 hours.
The most recent reported victim ship is the 21,173 gt Panamanian-flag, general cargo ship Malaspina Castle, whose registered owner is Navalmark of the U.K. and which is managed by Italy's B. Navi.
Also snatched were a French yacht, the German-flag containership Hansa Stavanger which is managed by Leonhardt and Blumberg, a Yemeni tug and a Taiwanese vessel, identified as the MV Win Far 161 seized near an island in the Seychelles.
