FRANCE is pushing Somalia to let French courts try six pirates captured last week after a yacht hijacking, the foreign minister, Bernard Kouchner, said.
French special forces swooped on the pirates in Somali territory shortly after they had released their 30 hostages, 22 of them French, and picked up a ransom estimated at £1 million.
