MOGADISHU: President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud of the Federal Republic of Somalia has received Mohammed Ahmed Al Osman, UAE Ambassador to Somalia, at the Office of the President.
The meeting reviewed bilateral ties and discussed a variety of topics of common interest.
President Mohamud expressed thanks and appreciation to the UAE government for its efforts to support Somalia’s stability. Emphasising the UAE-Somalia’s strategic ties, he also commended efforts being made by the UAE in various fields, particularly the development projects that aim to support the people of Somalia. The UAE envoy thanked the Somali president for his efforts to strengthen bilateral ties.
