MOGADISHU (HOL)----Suspected Al-S habab gunmen stormed Somalia's higher education ministry compound after a suicide car bomber detonated his explosives-laden vehicle onto the gate of the ministry in the Somali capital on Tuesday.
Witnesses reported that gunmen fought their way into the compound, taking some of the employees hostage.
Security forces have arrived the scene, however, the attackers who have taken positions inside are fighting to repel troops attempts to retake the ministry's compound.
